Talaris
Talaris, formerly part of the De La Rue group, make cash counting machines used in banks, shops and casinos. They are great at technology-lead innovation; they commissioned me to help them be better at user-centred innovation.
I worked alongside a team of engineers and marketers and conducted ethnographic research in shops and banks throughout the UK, Eastern Europe and the Middle East.
I mentored the team as they practised ethnographic research and ideation skills, and I facilitated a multi-stakeholder workshop where we explored all their research. Much of the output is commercially sensitive, but I helped develop a map of product, service and technology opportunities for the next 3 years.
